Maybe you’ve heard of them. Maybe you haven’t. Either way, they are a great way to supplement into and mix-up your workout routine!
Michael Bracko, Ed.D., FACSM, said “high-intensity interval training (HIIT) can boost metabolism and accelerate weight loss.”
Great! Sounds right up my alley – more caloric expenditure in less time. Productivity, baby! If you could spend 15 min on a workout vs 45, would you?
According to a 2011 study presented at the American College of Sports Medicine Annual Meeting, just 2 weeks of high-intensity intervals improves your aerobic capacity as much as 6 to 8 weeks of endurance training.
Erm .. yes!! That’s fantastic news. So, try something new!
