I had the opportunity to try this recipe from a friend (she made it, not me!) and it was so tasty! In case you ever wanted to make your own hummus vs buying one from the store! Very easy to make!

Ingredients:

    15 oz chickpeas, drained
    1/2 c roasted red peppers
    1/3 c tahini paste
    1/4 c lemon juice
    1-2 garlic cloves, minced
    3/4 tsp sea salt
    1/4 tsp cumin
    1/4 tsp coriander
    1/4 tsp cayenne
    2 Tbsp olive oil
    1 Tbsp cilantro, fresh

Directions:

    Mix all ingredients in blender. Stop and stir frequently until a paste forms. Serve with flour or corn tortillas. For tortillas, preheat oven to 400F. Slice tortillas into eighths. Spray with olive oil cooking spray, salt lightly and bake 8-10 min or until crisp.
