Vision – (noun) 1. the faculty or state of being able to see. 2. the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom. 3.  a mental image of what the future will or could be like. 4. the images seen on a television screen

Welcome to the VIRTUE series. A collection of five key points essential to life.

Without vision, life cannot exist. I am talking about hope of a future. Think about it – that’s what keeps us going, day after day, week to week, month after month, after year after year.

Vision and our life go hand in hand. Our minds are like cameras — what we focus on, develops in our lives.

So it’s very simple, really, what do you want? What do you really want out of life? What makes you smile? We have a Creator that placed certain things within us to bring them forth both for the world and for our enjoyment.

Do you enjoy singing? Painting? Running? Lifting weights? Are you competitive? Enjoy helping others? Animals? Enjoy cooking? Baking? Time with family? Enjoying the small experiences of life?

Meditate and WRITE DOWN these things today! 2 things: 1. Do not delay 2. Refer to #1! If you are in a position that you have not written down goals and aspirations of what you want to do, where you want to go, who you want to be, inside and out, then now is the time! Don’t allow it to be a “New Year’s Resolution” type of thing. This is a “real world life” type of thing. This ain’t high school anymore! Whatever you want out of life, you can get.

You just have to know the formula. Good news is, you don’t have to continue it by trial and error. You can do it by wisdom.

Side note, definition #4 of vision is not one to be skipped – your brain is taking mental images of what you are watching – what you are feeding into your mind .. do so with vigilance to what you truly want in life!
