Aubrey Eicher - Messengers

Does your life carry a message to it?

I imagine it does. In fact, I am certain of it. Have you ever considered this?

What is your story?

What trials or hardships have you personally gone through and had to overcome to be in the place where you are today?

When I was a teenager, I knew that I would write. I knew that I had things to say that would help others in their walk of life.

I don’t believe that idea just came out of the air. Come on, at 14, are you really thinking about world impact?

Not normally. But I remember going through some very tough times and while I did not understand it at the time, it was God who was speaking to me: telling me, revealing to me, that there were others going through much worse in the world and to keep my head up and that one day I would have a story (or, stor(ies) now) to help them with. It gave me a sense of solace and purpose that surpassed my understanding as a 14 year old.

We are ALL messengers. What message are we conveying to the world? Is it a positive one, of hope, and peace, and joy? Or, is it negative: doom, gloom, depression, “the world is out to get you” type of mentality?

To every situation, to every life, there are both perspectives available.

Today’s Dare: Meditate/think on your message to those around you today. What do you inspire within those around you?

We are all called to be influencers, some know it, and others do not realize it. But we ALL influence SOMEONE. Question is, is it in a positive way, or in a negative way?

love you!

  1. The message is one of hope. Never give up. Even if at present you feel like this is bottom, like it can’t possibly get worse (it can). If it is bottom, good. It means all directions point up.

  2. The message is one of hope. Never give up. Even if this moment feels like it can’t get any worse (it can), like this is the worst your life has ever been. I’ve been in my own dark places, my own worst moments. I’m still here and doing ok.
