Your first homework assignment upon deciding to begin a fitness routine is as follows:

  1. If you have not had one recently (within the past year), schedule a physical with your primary care physician (PCP).
  2. If you do not currently have an established PCP, research to find one that accepts the type of insurance that you have. Recommendations can come from a friend or family member, or talk with your coach!

Please remember to be patient with yourself, but also persistent with yourself! There are things you want to accomplish and you will see them come to pass if you simply do not give up and communicate fully with your coach.
